Abstract:This data set presents polygons that generally indicate the extent of land parcels involved in land use change proposals under review in the years 1999 through 2004 by Delaware state agencies under the Land Use Planning Act (LUPA), a precursor to the current Preliminary Land Use Service (PLUS).
Purpose:State agency and public review of land use change proposals under the Delaware Land Use Planning Act (LUPA).
Supplemental Information:This data is in the Delaware State Plane coordinate system, NAD83 (meters). It is presented in ArcView shapefile format. Polygons are mapped by staff as land use proposals come in based on County parcel data, where available, or interpretation of aerial imagery. Each polygon is given a LUPAID number which can be used to access further data on the proposal found in database files posted at http://stateplanning.delaware.gov/lupa/.
